About Beads & Stitches

Beads & Stitches is a tool for designing grid-based pixel patterns — for cross-stitch, beadwork, hama beads, knitting charts, or anything that lives on a grid of coloured cells.

It started as a personal project: a place to sketch patterns from photos or imagination without fighting paint apps that weren't built for grids. Imported images get pixelated to a small palette so the result is something you can actually stitch or string.

Built and maintained by one person, on a personal Cloudflare account. Bug reports and feedback welcome via email.
